$9.99
Target's Organized line (shoe rack) became our entertainment center organizer. The tv is now at eye level and you can see it over the couch.
IKEA
Last weekend Mike and Margaret took us shopping for furniture for the guest room. I had a "coupon" from Christmas for them to build a custom desk. We don't really need a desk-the one we have works just fine. But I saw this closet in a magazine and I really wanted to recreate it in the guest room. So we have two dressers, a clothes rack and a tall nightstand. We never used the trim paint for the other rooms, so I had it re-tinted to use in the closet.

Missing Bolts
Calling all those that helped with moving...do you remember where we put the bolts to the trundle bed?

Guest Room
The guest room is ready for occupants-well as long as you don't need to put anything in the closet yet.
There will be a trundle bed-room for two.
There is plenty of room on the other side of the guest room for those with babes and their pack-n-play.
The closet will be finished soon-furnished courtesy of IKEA.

No Plants Please
Jon's grandpa gave us some hostas. I know these are hardy plants, but after this morning I'll be surprised if they survive.
I planted two of them in the back of the yard. As I was doing this, Polly was watching. I probably looked just like her with less fur. I'm digging in the dirt like I imagine a dog would and she probably thought it looked like fun.
After getting all dirty, I went in to clean up. Went back to the deck to let Polly in. Looked back at my hostas-they were on their sides.
Furious I ran outside yelling at Polly at how bad she was. Dragged her over to the plants and scolded her again, then proceeded to try and replant them with my now bare hands.
She also managed to take out the only Lily stalk I had left.
Bad Polly.
